Executive Assistant to Co-Founder and Group MD
London
The role
Qurated is a growing executive search and consulting firm working with financial and professional services firms on complex organisational and talent challenges, giving clients a more joined-up answer to their growth and transformation needs.
We are hiring an Executive Assistant to directly support our Co-founder and Group MD. This is a new role, created in response to our growth as we scale across the UK and US. This is a high-trust, high-autonomy role which would be ideal for an experienced EA who can bring high levels of control, pace, and judgement to a busy and dynamic environment. You will play a key part in creating capacity at the centre of the business, ensuring time is focused on the work that will have the greatest impact.
What you will do
- Own and protect a complex diary across UK and US, making clear decisions on priorities, sequencing, and attendance
- Inbox management, ensuring requests are triaged, progressed, delegated, or escalated appropriately
- Build meeting discipline by establishing purpose, agendas, and context where needed, ensuring the right people are involved and reducing unnecessary time spent in meetings
- Prepare the Group MD properly for key meetings, including concise briefs, stakeholder context, objectives, materials, and practical details
- Track actions and follow-ups, coordinating and delegating with relevant colleagues on behalf of the MD until work is complete
- Plan travel and logistics end-to-end, ensuring schedules are realistic and that transitions between meetings work in practice
- Provide a blend of professional and personal support - diary, travel, and the personal arrangements that keep his week running smoothly
- Build strong working relationships across Qurated so you can coordinate, delegate, and follow up effectively
- Use sound judgement to spot risks, clashes, and missing information early, then resolve them or escalate with a clear recommendation
- Handle sensitive information with discretion and represent the MD and business professionally with senior internal and external stakeholders
- Where needed, support wider leadership team with operational priorities selectively, without losing focus on the core executive support remit.
- Adapt calmly as the business changes, including occasional out-of-hours coordination where genuinely needed.
What we are looking for
- At least 6+ years' Executive Assistant experience, including direct support to a CEO, MD, founder, or C-suite executive in a fast-moving, high-growth business
- Experience working across demanding schedules, international travel, senior stakeholders, and shifting priorities
- Experience blending both professional and personal support for a principal
- Confidence in gatekeeping, challenging, and decision-making with judgement while keeping relationships positive and collaborative
- A proactive, practical style: you connect the dots, delegate work to the right people, and make sure it gets done
- Strong written and verbal communication, attention to detail, discretion, and the ability to turn incomplete information into a sensible plan
- Technological confidence and an interest in using systems and AI appropriately to improve visibility, preparation, and follow-through
- Comfort with ambiguity and a high-growth environment where the work varies from day to day
What’s in it for you
- A genuinely high-impact role at the centre of an ambitious business as it scales across the UK and US
- Direct exposure to senior decision-making and the opportunity to build a trusted, long-term partnership with the Group MD
- Scope to shape the role, introduce better ways of working, and take increasing ownership as trust builds
- A varied role combining high-level executive support, operational coordination, and stakeholder management
- A comprehensive benefits package, including pension, private healthcare, gym membership, and 26 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays
